Diablo 4’s Season 7 is set to launch on January 21, introducing an exciting new theme—Witch Power. Players can look forward to new powers, weapons, pets, and items, all centered around dark magic and supernatural forces. While it is still unclear whether new classes will be introduced, the Witch Power system is the highlight of the update. This season promises a fresh take on Diablo 4’s mechanics, with 24 different Witch Powers, each offering unique abilities to Diablo IV Items enhance gameplay.

Overview of Witch Power

Season 7 introduces a system that allows players to harness Witch Powers, a set of supernatural abilities divided into four schools with two different qualities—unique and normal powers. Players can carry up to six Witch Powers at a time, with five Normal Powers and one Unique Power. These abilities will have varying effects, including attribute boosts and additional damage to enemies. Some powers evolve at higher levels, gaining new effects—such as the Poison Frog Servant, which, at level 5, grants the ability to taunt enemies.

How to Acquire Witch Powers

Each Witch Power has a corresponding altar where it can be obtained:

Altar of the Eldritch

Altar of the Psyche

Altar of Growth

Forgotten Altars

The first three altars can be found in the Whispering Tree, while Forgotten Altars appear randomly in dungeons. To unlock these powers, players must increase their Seasonal Reputation with The Coven.

Leveling Up Witch Powers

After obtaining Witch Powers, they can be upgraded using Restless Rot, a key item primarily acquired through the Headhunt activity—Season 7’s main event, which spawns across Sanctuary. Upgrading Witch Powers unlocks enhanced abilities, making them significantly more powerful.
